Terms & Conditions

Last updated 27 September 2026

These terms apply to every cleaning service provided by Sebghatullah Yousufi (ABN 65 887 022 062) trading as MEGA Cleaning Services (“MEGA Cleaning”, “we”, “us”). By requesting a booking, accepting a quote or letting us start a clean, you (“you”, “the customer”) agree to these terms. Please read them together with our Privacy Policy.

Nothing in these terms excludes, restricts or modifies any right or remedy you have under the Australian Consumer Law that cannot lawfully be excluded.

1. Quotes and prices

• All prices on our website and in our quotes are in Australian dollars and include GST.
• Prices are based on the information you give us (for example the number of bedrooms and bathrooms, the service and any extras). If the property is significantly larger, dirtier or different from what was described, we will explain this on arrival and give you an updated price before we start. You can accept the new price or cancel that clean without a cancellation fee.
• End of lease cleans have fixed prices by number of bedrooms for a property in normal condition. Builders, carpet and other specialty cleans are quoted individually. Quotes are valid for 30 days.
• First clean offer: new customers receive 10% off their first clean booked through our website. The offer is limited to one clean per household or business, applies to the price of that first clean only, cannot be exchanged for cash, and may be changed or withdrawn at any time. It can be combined with regular‑clean frequency discounts.
• Commercial cleaning is charged at $49 per cleaner per hour (GST included) unless we agree a different price with you in writing.
• Advertised discounts for regular cleans (weekly, fortnightly or monthly) apply while the regular schedule continues.

2. Bookings

• A booking request made on our website, by phone, email or message is not confirmed until we confirm the date, arrival window and price with you.
• Arrival times are windows, not exact times. Traffic and earlier jobs can affect arrival; we will contact you if we expect to be late.
• We work Monday to Saturday, 7am to 7pm, and are closed on Sundays and public holidays unless agreed otherwise.

3. Cancelling or rescheduling

• You can cancel or reschedule free of charge with at least 24 hours’ notice before the start of your booked arrival window.
• If you cancel or reschedule with less than 24 hours’ notice, we may charge a late cancellation fee of up to 50% of the booking price.
• If our team arrives and cannot start (for example no one is home, the keys aren’t available, or we are turned away), we will wait at least 30 minutes and try to contact you. If we still cannot start, we may charge up to 100% of the booking price.
• We may need to reschedule because of illness, severe weather or safety issues. If this happens we will tell you as early as possible, offer the next available time and never charge you a fee.

4. Access, utilities and safety

• Please make sure we can get in at the booked time, and that electricity, running water (including hot water) and lighting are connected. End of lease cleans need power and water on.
• Tell us about keys, lockboxes, alarms, parking and building access when you book. Keys are kept securely and returned or left as you instruct.
• Please secure pets, and put away valuables, cash and fragile or sentimental items.
• For safety, our cleaners do not move heavy furniture or appliances, work higher than a standard two‑step ladder, clean outside windows above ground level, or handle biohazards, sharps, pest droppings, significant mould or hazardous chemicals. We may stop work if a site is unsafe and will talk to you about next steps.
• Unless you ask us to use your products, we bring our own cleaning products and equipment.

5. Payment

• No payment is taken when you book online. Payment for residential cleans is due on the day the clean is completed, by card or bank transfer.
• Commercial customers are invoiced and payment is due within 7 days of the invoice date unless we agree otherwise in writing.
• If a payment is overdue we may pause future cleans until the account is paid.

6. Our 72‑hour re‑clean guarantee

• If you’re not happy with any area we cleaned, tell us within 72 hours of the clean being completed, with a description and photos where possible.
• We will come back and re‑clean those areas free of charge at a time we agree. You need to give us reasonable access to do this.
• The guarantee covers the areas and tasks included in your booking. It does not cover items outside the booked scope, marks or stains that cannot be removed by cleaning, pre‑existing damage, wear and tear, or areas that have been used or cleaned by someone else after us.
• A re‑clean is our remedy under this guarantee. It does not limit your rights under the Australian Consumer Law.

7. Bond‑back guarantee (end of lease cleans)

• If your property manager or landlord reports a cleaning issue with an area we cleaned, send us their report (or photos) within 72 hours of our clean. We will return and re‑clean the listed items free of charge, as long as the property is still accessible and has not been used since our clean.
• The bond decision belongs to your landlord or agent and can depend on things other than cleaning. Our guarantee covers re‑cleaning. It does not cover damage, repairs, wear and tear, rubbish or furniture removal, pest control, garden and outdoor areas, or services you didn’t book (for example carpet cleaning, if it wasn’t part of your booking).

8. Damage and breakages

• Our cleaners take great care in your home or workplace, and our work is insured.
• If something is damaged during our clean, please tell us within 48 hours with photos. We will investigate and, where we are responsible, repair, replace or compensate fairly.
• We are not responsible for pre‑existing damage, items that were already loose, faulty or poorly fixed, normal wear and tear, or damage caused by following your instructions or products you asked us to use.

9. Regular and commercial services

• There is no lock‑in contract. You can change, pause or stop a regular or commercial service at any time with at least 24 hours’ notice before the next scheduled clean.
• For commercial sites, the cleaning scope, hours and schedule are those agreed with you in writing (including by email).

10. Complaints

If something isn’t right, please contact us first. We aim to respond within 2 business days and to resolve complaints fairly and quickly.

11. Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by law, and subject to the Australian Consumer Law, our liability for a failure to provide a service is limited to supplying the service again or paying the cost of having it supplied again. We are not liable for indirect or consequential loss.

12. Changes and governing law

We may update these terms from time to time. The version on this page when you book applies to that booking. These terms are governed by the laws of New South Wales, Australia.
