This policy explains how Sebghatullah Yousufi (ABN 65 887 022 062) trading as MEGA Cleaning Services (“MEGA Cleaning”, “we”, “us”) collects, uses, stores and discloses personal information. We handle personal information in line with the Australian Privacy Principles in the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth).

1. What we collect

• Contact details: your name, phone number, email address and the address of the property or site.
• Booking details: the service you need, property size, dates and times, access instructions (such as key or lockbox details), notes about pets or parking, and any photos you send us.
• Payment details: invoices and payment records. We do not store full card numbers on our website.
• NDIS details, if you choose to give them, such as plan‑management information needed for invoicing.
• Website information: pages visited, device and browser details, approximate location and how you found our site, collected with cookies and similar technologies.

2. How we collect it

We collect information when you book or ask for a quote on our website, call, email or message us, or interact with our website, social media or advertising. Where practical we collect information directly from you. You can contact us without giving your name, but we will need contact details to quote and book a clean.

3. How we use it

• To prepare quotes, confirm and schedule cleans, and give our cleaners the information they need to do the job.
• To contact you about your booking, send invoices and receipts, and handle feedback, re‑clean requests and complaints.
• To improve our services and website, and to measure and improve our advertising.
• To send you occasional offers or reminders. You can opt out at any time by replying “STOP” or clicking unsubscribe.
• To meet our legal, tax and insurance obligations.

4. Who we share it with

• Our cleaners and contractors, only as needed to carry out your clean.
• Service providers who help us run the business, such as website hosting (Hostinger), email, phone and messaging, bookkeeping and payment providers.
• Analytics and advertising providers such as Google and Meta (Facebook and Instagram), which help us understand website use and show relevant ads.
• Our insurer, accountant or legal advisers where needed, or government bodies where required or authorised by law.

We do not sell your personal information.

5. Overseas disclosure

Some of our service providers, such as Google and Meta, may store or process information overseas, including in the United States. We use reputable providers and take reasonable steps to make sure your information is protected.

6. Cookies and analytics

Our website uses cookies and similar technologies to work properly, remember preferences, measure traffic (for example with Google Analytics) and measure the results of our advertising (for example with Google and Meta advertising tools). You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings, although some parts of the site may not work as intended.

7. Security and retention

We take reasonable steps to protect personal information from misuse, loss and unauthorised access, including password‑protected systems and limited access for staff. Access instructions and key details are only shared with the cleaners doing your job. We keep information only as long as we need it for the purposes above or as required by law (for example tax records), then securely delete or de‑identify it.

8. Accessing and correcting your information

You can ask to see the personal information we hold about you, or ask us to correct it, by contacting us using the details below. We will respond within a reasonable time, usually 30 days.

9. Complaints

If you have a concern about how we have handled your personal information, please contact us first and we will try to resolve it. If you are not satisfied with our response, you can contact the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner at oaic.gov.au.
